Position Summary:
The Quality Assurance Specialist (QAS) plays a key role in ensuring accuracy and quality across the Laser Printing, Mailing, and Bindery departments at Direct Marketing Solutions (DMS). Working primarily on second shift, the QAS verifies that all client specifications are met by applying a solid understanding of standard operating procedures (SOPs). This role ensures that materials are prepared, processed, and shipped in strict compliance with established quality standards and production guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Verify that materials produced match the specifications detailed on machine job tickets.
• Ensure address blocks and barcodes comply with current postal regulations.
• Inspect Laser department output for correct font size, print quality, and accurate text population.
• Review Bindery department output for proper fold measurements and accurate tray tags.
• Check Mailing department output for correct sealing, postage application, and package contents.
• Promptly notify machine operators and relevant supervisors of any discrepancies or quality concerns.
• Learn and apply all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) across the Quality, Mailing, Laser, and Bindery departments.

Requirements:

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience

• 1–2 years of relevant professional experience

• Proficiency with standard office equipment and Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)

Schedule:

• 2nd Shift: Monday–Friday, 2:30 PM – 10:30 PM

• Overtime required as necessary
