Summary:

The Quality Assurance Specialist 1 (QAS1) works closely with the Laser printing, Mailing, and Bindery teams at Direct Marketing Solutions (DMS) to ensure client specifications are met. The QAS1 uses a basic understanding of standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure that all materials are shipped for production in accordance with established processes.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Verifies that materials produced by a machine match the machine's job ticket.
• Ensures address blocks and barcodes meet postal regulations.
• Reviews the font size, quality of print, and populated text of Laser department output.
• Reviews the fold measurements and tray tags of Bindery department output.
• Reviews the sealing, postage, and package contents of Mailing department output.
• Notifies the operator and applicable supervisor immediately when any discrepancy is discovered.
• Learns all SOPs for the Quality, Mailing, Laser, and Bindery departments.

Requirements:

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience
• One to two years' relevant experience
• Proficiency with common office equipment and Microsoft Office applications

Schedules (Hiring for multiple)

• Day shift - 6:00am-2:30pm (Overtime when needed- 6:00am-6:00pm)
• Night shift - 6:00pm-2:30am (Overtime when needed- 6:00pm-6:00am)
